At ten-months old, our baby girl is growing at rapid rates and learning all sorts of tricks. She waves (and says words that sound a lot like 'hi'), does "so big", smacks her lips, clacks her tongue, gives high fives, kind of plays peek-a-boo, blows slobber raspberries, and gives big, open-mouthed kisses. She pulls herself up to standing with ease and dances to music. She's comfortable exploring all areas of the house, though she hasn't attempted climbing the stairs. She does, however, bee-line it for the top of the stairs and the bathroom if she ever gets the chance. I love her speed crawl and her scrunchy smile. I love it when she voluntarily rests her head on my shoulder and I love when she sits on her knees. Caroline is pretty much obsessed with big brother. She wants to be anywhere Emmett is and absolutely cannot nurse if he is in the same room. She's a social little thing and has bouts of being spazzy and hyper that are quite entertaining, if not a little dangerous. :)
Baby Sis has also gotten loud! Whether happy or annoyed about life, she likes to hear the sound of her own babbles (or squawks and screams). She almost always throws her binky out of the crib at least once or twice before falling asleep for naps.
She's becoming a pickier eater and will casually toss food off her tray if it doesn't suit her fancy. However, when she likes her food, she can devour it in seconds. She will not keep her bibs on and hates getting her face wiped. She can drink out of a sippy cup, too! She's a solid little thing and in just the last week or so has become quite a heavy baby to lug around!
She's getting more and more hair and her two bottom teeth are peeking through her grins and cries quite prominently. We love this lady in all her moods and attitudes. My only real complaint about this sweet sis is that she's growing up too fast!
