Norah Beth--1 month old

Weight: 10 lb 9 oz (87%)
Height: 22.5 inches (93%)

How is it possible that this darling girl is one month old? She is basically a perfect baby. My only complaint is that she can no longer wear her darling newborn outfits--some she only wore once! She gets plenty of beauty sleep (as if she needed it)--sleeping through the night at least 60% of the time. She usually goes to bed between 10-11 pm and wakes to eat sometime between 3-6 am, which is totally manageable. She is holding her head up more and more, pushing up on her legs and starting to smile. Her hair is completely adorable and seems to lighten a shade each day. She tolerates the life of a third child well--sleeping through lots of noise, waiting an extra ten minutes to eat, being woken to drive kids to school, etc. She sleeps (and usually naps) swaddled, takes her pacifier well and gets hiccups often. She enjoys evening walks and pre-bedtime baths, and we are cherishing every snuggle and smile.
It's so easy to fall in love with this little lady and her siblings continue to be smitten. Here are some snippets of what you would hear if you were hanging out with us all:

What Emmett says to Norah:
"Well, aren't you my little sweetie pie."
"Well, hello, sweet girl!"

What Caroline says to Norah:
"Hi, baby Norah!"
"Baby Norah so cute!"
"I want to hold it!"
"I need baby Norah!"
"I love you too, baby Norah!"

What Mom says around baby Norah:
"Don't touch her face, please."
"I said don't touch her face!"
"Okay, that's enough kisses."
"Be soft. Be gentle."
"That's not gentle."
"Give Norah some space."

The transition to three kids has been okay--definitely more complicated when we have to get out of the house. Sacrament meeting is significantly less enjoyable and the diapers pile up quickly. I thought about potty training Caroline for about two seconds and decided to put it off until...later. Good thing our Norah is a calm little thing. She rarely is upset about something we can't take care of pretty quickly. We feel pretty lucky to have her in our life.
