You know how sometimes babies grow up seemingly over night? A couple of weeks ago I would have said that Graham just didn't seem old enough to be one. But then, all of a sudden, the way he plays and interacts seems very much like a one year old! As much as I hate that he's growing up so quickly, this little guy is so much fun right now.
He's taking steps, walking on his knees, standing with ease, playing peek-a-boo, throwing balls and pushing cars. He's getting pretty good at turning around at the top of the stairs and going down. He's enjoying the pool, trying out big kid things like going down the slide, and still coveting things like remotes, keys and cell phones. He recently got his first taste of the beach (I mean that literally--the kid at a bunch of sand).
His very favorite activities include pulling wipes out of the package, pulling sandwich bags out of the box, pulling folded clothes out of drawers, emptying laundry baskets and cupboards, opening doors that are just barely ajar, etc. His favorite food is corn on the cob. He's drinking milk during the day and nursing morning and night. He is an early riser--often waking before 6 am and he's generally super easy at nap and bed time. He does "so big" and plays peek-a-boo.
He's happy and silly and so beloved.
Bday selfie with mom.
Playing at the park. Big brothers are so great.
Happiness is when mom lets you roam in the mist at the museum.
Waking up so early...even at the beach.
Unloading stuff.
General cuteness.
