We thoroughly enjoyed not having a toddler in the car with us during the 3-hour drive and enjoyed chatting and working on crossword puzzles. That evening we met up with Grayson, Emilie and Baby Brisbane for dinner at a little burger joint, then headed over to watch Grayson perform in the Green Show. Our good friend, Brian, came up from St. George and met up with us for the performance.
After that we saw the night performance of Peter and the Star Catcher. Gray and Emilie came along and it just so happened that we had seats right next to Brian's mom, Judee. It was a fun treat to visit with her and a very well-acted show.
The brand is a cool idea, but it does make the burger taste a little burnt...
We stayed the night at Grayson and Emilie's and some of us (not me) managed to stay awake through the movie Clue. Emilie treated us to a yummy french toast breakfast in the morning, and then we ventured off with Brian to see Cedar Breaks National Monument. It was chillier than we were prepared for, but the views were beautiful and it was great to spend time with Brian again.
The awkward selfie shot...notice our matching shirts. :)
Road hazards
We had a scrumptious lunch at The Pastry Pub before seeing one more play, Anything Goes. Not the most amazing musical in the world, but the actors and the performing were top notch. We cheered especially loud for Grayson, who's pretty darn talented himself. We fit in one more meal (Sonny's BBQ--delicious!) before hitting the road again. So glad we got the chance to play in Cedar City for 24 hours. We fit in a lot!

Again....SO FUN! And your 'matching shirt selfie shot' is my new favorite. So much awesomeness in just one picture.
