Teeth count: 2
Our dark-eyed babe is growing! He moves around plenty for a baby who doesn't actually crawl yet. He rolls and pivots with ease and intention, pushes up onto his hands and knees and rocks back and forth, and he's just recently figured out how to use that rocking to propel himself forward over and over again to get to a desired object. For all that moving, he's only just starting to hold himself up in a sitting position on his own for short (sometimes very short) periods of time.
Now that he's getting bigger and more mobile, the kids (cough, Caroline, cough) think they can move him around more too. Poor guy puts up with being handled by well-meaning mini-moms quite well. Though I do feel like sometimes his eyes are saying, "Mom, help me."
Graham has a musical little gurgle and has started making some ba-ba and da-da sounds. He loves putting almost anything and everything in his mouth, whether it's food, toys, mom's face or, most recently, his toes. Exceptions include bottles and certain foods that he's decided he doesn't care for (carrots and pears to name a couple).
This boy loves meal time. I only put him in his high chair at dinner time, but he happily munches on cucumber strips, sweet potato fries, broccoli, pretzel rods with peanut butter, puffs, etc. He makes quite a mess but is actually starting to eat some of his food too. :)
Graham had a great first Christmas and New Year. He loved looking at festive lights, pleasantly sat on Santa's lap, looked adorable in his festive church clothes and pjs, and seemed content with his Christmas haul. :) He got to spend lots of time with the Schmutz family and cute cousins.
Stay little, Mr. Graham.
