A long time coming...

On November 3, Clark and I officially passed the year mark! It's been wonderful to live an entire year free of heart-wrenching emotional turmoil! I am so grateful and happy to be married to such a loving and wonderful man who makes me laugh and with whom I never get tired of spending time and whom I love so very much. We were able to escape for a quick overnight getaway to Asheville, one of our most favorite places to visit. We ate delicious food, observed crazy adult Halloweeners, and soaked in the autumn beauty. Clark's favorite thing to eat were sweet potato fries at Tupelo Honey and my favorite thing was the butternut squash bisque at the Winery Bistro at the Biltmore. I wish we could celebrate anniversaries every weekend!

We really didn't have good luck asking other people to take pictures of the two of us. This is one of the better choices and leaves much to be desired. And it really is just too hard to capture the beauty of the Biltmore and Asheville on my camera.

will miss visiting the Biltmore each time we visit Asheville.

Oh how I wish I could have captured all the crazy people in crazy costumes living it up in downtown Asheville on Halloween night! These costumed dancers are moving the beats of drums from the weekly community drum concert.
