Say hello to my most adorable nephew.
The day after we got back from Lake Powell, my mom, Beth and I headed up to Idaho Falls for my cousin Stewart's wedding reception. We were in charge of putting together the centerpieces which was a tiny bit stressful since we arrived at 5 p.m. and the reception started at 7 p.m. We had 2 hours to put together 14 centerpieces. We worked like crazy and thanks to my mom's incredible talents & creativity, we managed to pull it off. The parsley didn't hold up well, but overall, they turned out pretty cute.
I was so happy to see lots of aunts, uncles and cousins. It was such a nice celebration and a beautiful country setting--not to mention the fantastic food!
I took care of baby Boyd for the night so Phil and Jerai could get their last minute float ready for the Victor parade. He was a good little boy and even slept in until 6:30 a.m. :) He and his second cousin (is that the right term?) Jack were a little sleepy by this point in the night but the fireworks kept them awake. Boyd was pretty intrigued by the firework show and was sure to clap after ones that he liked.
Sparklers were pretty entertaining as well. Hard to blow out though.
There is something calming and refreshing about getting back to one's roots, being outdoors in cool summer air and seeing people that you love and care so much about.

It was so fun to spend a little time together at the newlywed celebration! Boyd loved hanging out with his awesome aunt! Thanks again for keeping him--you're wonderful! And yes, the center pieces turned out amazing!
Those centerpieces are so pretty!
