Lucy's big days!

 The day after we got home from Texas, we headed down to Greenville, SC to be there for Lucy's finalization hearing.  The whole thing was much more formal than I expected it to be:  Emmett had to leave the room so he wouldn't interfere with the recording of the proceedings; Vaughn and Margaret both had to answer questions up on the stand, etc.  An interesting and sweet experience.  We were thrilled to be there for Vaughn and Margaret and to celebrate Lucy officially being part of our family.  She is the cutest little girl--still so tiny but so fun and interactive.  

A few weeks later we did another day trip down to Charlotte for Lucy's baby blessing.  Both she and the blessing were beautiful, and we enjoyed a quick visit with family and friends before heading back to Durham so Clark could work.
