This year we celebrated our fifth annual Green Party, and this time we did it North Carolina style—on the beach! And in honor of all things green, we stayed on Emerald Isle and in a rather green beach house named Big Bertha (a big thanks to Cindy for great beach connection). We were thrilled that everyone actually bought their tickets and made it out here. We gathered from Washington, Texas, Utah, and Arkansas. It was a perfect weekend getaway full of laughter, food, really wonderful people, and of course, a lot of green. Here are a few of the highlights:
• Family Feud
• Locopops
• Emerald Isle’s St. Patrick’s Festival
• C’s sound effect for “wimpy”
• Very late night hot-tubbing
• Walking the beach
• $100, 000 pyramid
• Not-so-good seafood at Jordan’s
• Chowdaheads imitations
• Sleeping 8 people in a one bedroom apartment
• Our first 2nd generation attendee
Decked out in green--ready to play and dance!
We love the beach!
A few rays of sun--we didn't see many!
A quick picture in the beer garden tent at the St. Patrick's festival.

Fun party! What an awesome tradition!
Hooray for blogging instead of grading and sleeping. And HOORAY (of course) for the beach! ;)

It really was a fabulous weekend! Lily wants to go back to the beach (especially since we have snow in Utah!).
